Khusrawiyya, close-up view at ornamental paneling in Friday Mosque in 2000

Close-up view from below onto the wooden ceiling of the Sudda (tribune). It is (was) made of a geometrical hexagonal basic pattern in a kind of wooden mosaic with stars and hexagons, in whose surfaces arabesques were painted in ʿajami technique.
