A façade of the Shahba Roman baths

The Shahba Roman baths are one of the largest known baths in of the third 3rd century AD, built by Emperor Philip al-the Arabi. The picture shows a façade of one of the bath’s sections. It has a central entrance with a semi-circular arch, with two rectangular niches and on the sides two rectangular niches ending with a semi-circular arch. © xxxxxx – Syrian Heritage Archive Project
